'The Bikeriders' is an upcoming motorcycle gang drama set in the 1960s and revolves around the Vandals, a fictional motorcycle club based in Chicago that eventually gets involved with criminal activity and shows the violence that follows.

Austin Butler stars as Benny, a young man deeply committed to the club, much like Johnny (Tom Hardy), an older gang member and founder. Jodie Comer stars as Benny's wife, Kathy, who fell in love with him at a young age. However, she struggles with the consequences of Benny's involvement with the group.

Mike Faist portrays a fictional version of Danny Lyon, the photographer who captured the real-life 1960s bikers who inspired the characters in the film. Faist will also share the screen alongside Zendaya and Josh O'Connor in the upcoming April film 'Challengers,' directed by Luca Guadagnino.

Michael Shannon, Norman Reedus, Boyd Holbrook, Damon Herriman, Beau Knapp, Emory Cohen and Karl Glusman also star in the midwestern motorcycle club film.

The release of the film 'The Bikeriders' was delayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. It premiered at the Telluride and London Film Festivals in the fall of 2023, with a scheduled debut in December. However, the New Regency team had to make changes after being removed from the release calendar by 20th Century Studios. Fortunately, Focus Features picked up the film for distribution. Finally, after all these delays, 'The Bikeriders' will be released this summer for audiences to enjoy.

2024 is a big year for Austin Butler fans. Butler stars as Major Gale "Buck" Cleven in the Apple TV+ drama 'Masters of the Air,' he portrays the sadistic Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen in 'Dune: Part Two' and will lead as Benny in 'The Bikeriders' in theatres on June 21, 2024.
