On Tuesday, February 20, Beyoncé made history as the first Black female artist to top Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart with her new single, “Texas Hold ‘Em."
According to Billboard, she has become the second solo female artist, after Taylor Swift, to accomplish this feat without accompanying artists.
Beyoncé is also the first woman to have ranked first on the Hot Country and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts since the lists began in 1958.
Apart from her, Morgan Wallen, Justin Bieber, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Ray Charles are the only other artists to have reached the No. 1 spot on both charts.
The 32-time Grammy winner also dropped "16 Carriages" on Feb. 11, which ranks No. 9 on the Hot Country Song charts.
Her recent achievement comes less than two weeks after announcing her new music in a surprise Super Bowl ad for Verizon.
The album, Act II, will be a part of Beyoncé's country era and is set to be released on March 29.
