‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ drops official trailer

The first Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One trailer has officially dropped, and if there’s one thing you can expect, it’s…well, it’s exactly what you’d expect.
In the 7th installment of the Mission: Impossible series, we’re going to be jumping right back into the adrenaline junkie, plane jumping, Tom Cruise robot-sprinting madness. There is no doubt that the many stunts shown throughout the two and a half minute trailer are undertaken by the one man actor-stunt person dual threat, who rips through busy streets in a yellow mini, rides a dirt bike off a mountain cliff (presumably with a parachute?), and throws down on top of a moving train.
Beyond the obvious Cirque-du-Soliel craziness, fans can also look forward to the return of many Mission: Impossible alumni. Returning alongside Cruise are Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, and, most surprisingly, Henry Czerny, who hasn’t been seen in the M:I series since the first movie.
Czerny will be reprising his role as Agent Eugene Kittridge, and can be heard as the narrating voice over the trailer, warning Cruise’s character Ethan Hunt of the decisions and perils that lie ahead.
And it seems there will be more peril than ever seen before in an M:I movie, as the new film has clocked in at two hours and 36 minutes (pre-credits), as per IGN’s exclusive. The movie, which was repeatedly rumoured to be struggling with an overly-long run time, will officially be the longest in the saga, but hopefully more content turns out to be good, rather than unnecessary.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is set to hit theaters July 12, 2023, so keep an eye out for this newest action-thriller and get ready for two and half hours of fight choreography, macho bad-assery, and borderline irresponsible stunts.
