Lauren Spencer Smith put on an incredible show at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on Monday June 17.

The Canadian artist made the third stop on her ‘Mirror tour’ with support from openers Blake Rose and Geena Fontanella. Both rising artists were very interactive with the crowd and gave all out amazing and energetic performances to help set the tone for the main act.

Lauren’s part of the show was very energetic. She had a few fan interactions including a story of how a couple got together from listening to her music as well as another couple getting engaged.

Her performance as a whole was very impressive, from the confidence in her voice to her very obvious passion for her music, the feeling of the show was electric.

I got to speak to a fan, Taylor, about what she thought of Smith’s show. “I saw her last year at the velvet underground in Toronto, which is a super small venue,” Taylor said. “Then to see her here now is incredible. I’ve gotten to watch her grow so much just within a year,”

Taylor went on to explain how she loves that Smith always shows her appreciation for her fans and the support she gets with the music she makes. “I’m always so amazed when I see her perform. She just has this presence on stage that is just full of passion,”

“She is so genuine and really cares for her fans and people, you can tell she really pours her heart out on stage. I’m just amazed and my jaw drops every time I see her.”

Overall the show was spectacular and I definitely recommend that everyone tries to attend one of her future tour stops!
