“This remarkable list of nominees reflects the diverse artists and music that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honors and celebrates,” said John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation.

“Continuing in the true spirit of rock & roll, these artists have created their own sounds that have impacted generations and influenced countless others that have followed in their footsteps.”

The Hall of Fame has shared data highlighting a significant improvement in diversity among its inductees.

According to data shared by NPR, between 2021 and 2023, 33% of inductees were female, and 48% were people of color. Whereas between the first Hall of Fame inductions in 1986 to 2020, only 13% of inductees were female, while 37% were people of color.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will announce the inductees for 2024 in April.

Later this fall, the official induction ceremony will be held in Cleveland, Ohio.

The ceremony will be streamed live on Disney+ and will air on ABC at a later date. It will also be available on Hulu the following day.
