The White Lotus is coming back to fans screens and Variety confirmed Monday that Blackpink member Lalisa Manobal, aka Lisa, will make her acting debut in the upcoming season three of the hit HBO show.

While the exact plot details are being kept secret as of now, the third season will revolve around a new set of guests staying at a White Lotus resort property.

Manobal is not the only big name checking into the White Lotus resort, she will be joined by stars such as Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Tayme Thapthimthong, Christian Friedel, Julian Kostov, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Carrie Coon, Scott Glenn, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Walton Goggins, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Sarah Catherine Hook and Sam Nivola.

The cast also includes Natasha Rothwell who will reprise her role as luxury hotel masseuse Belinda.

Created by Mike White, The White Lotus series is a sharp social satire following the stories of various guests and employees of the fictional White Lotus resort chain. As their stay progresses, a darker complexity emerges in the seemingly picture-perfect travelers, the cheerful hotel employees and the idyllic locale itself.

The show became an instant success for HBO when it debuted in 2021 with the first season, which took place in Hawaii, earning 20 Emmy award nominations and took home 10 wins, including the award for Best Limited or Anthology Series.

The second installment, which premiered in December 2022, set in Sicily, received 23 Emmy nominations and won 5 awards, including Best Drama Series.

Later this month, the third season will begin production in and around Koh Samui, Phuket and Bangkok, Thailand.
