UPSAHL took over Toronto with her “This Is Still My First Headline Tour” (Concert review + photos)

On Monday, May 8th, 2023, music lovers flocked to the Velvet Underground in Toronto to witness the talents of rising star UPSAHL and the electrifying German rapper WizTheMc. The energy in the room was palpable as fans eagerly awaited the start of the show.

WizTheMc was the perfect opener for the night, bringing a contagious energy to the stage that had the crowd hyped from the start. The rapper was clearly thrilled to be performing in Toronto, where he began his musical journey. He effortlessly commanded the stage, showcasing his skills as both a rapper and producer, and left the audience wanting more.

The moment everyone had been waiting for arrived as UPSAHL took the stage to thunderous applause at 9 PM. The singer-songwriter kicked off her set with a bang, starting with the powerful and catchy tune “People I Don’t Like.” She also took the opportunity to promote her latest work, “UPSAHL PRESENTS: THE PHX TAPES, V1,” much to the audience’s delight.

Throughout the night, UPSAHL’s energy and enthusiasm were infectious, keeping the crowd engaged and on their feet. Her band was in perfect sync with her, creating a truly memorable experience for the audience. The singer’s true star power shone through as she interacted with the crowd, jammed out with her bandmates, and performed with non-stop energy.

As the show drew to a close, UPSAHL closed with her hit song “Drugs,” leaving the crowd cheering and wanting more.

Overall, the “This Is Still My First Headline Tour” lived up to its name, as both performers brought their A-game and delivered an unforgettable night of music. Whether you came to the show as a die-hard fan like many of the people in the VIP section or you only knew their hit song, it’s safe to say that everyone in attendance left with a newfound appreciation for these talented artists.
